The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, urged that the construction of the Great Grandparents and Grandmothers of the Homeland Mission be continued.

“With their reflections, with their demands, let us build the Great Mission of Grandparents and Grandmothers of the Fatherland devised by President Nicolás Maduro (...) we want grandparents to bring their proposals, to share their experiences and to mark our future,” he said.

During his participation in the Congress of Grandparents and Grandmothers of the Homeland Chapter Caracas, which takes place in the Ali Primera Park, he highlighted the More Years, More Love days that have served the country's older adults.

In addition, he indicated that this sector has the Homeland System in which medicines can be requested through surveys, “because the president has given the order to the minister of health and the government team that we bring medicines home to grandparents and grandmothers,” he said, while indicating that there will be pharmacies in Abuelo's homes.

It should be noted that this Saturday, 220 delegates are participating in the Congress of Grandparents and Grandmothers of the Homeland Caracas Chapter. The activity is also attended by the mayor of the Libertador municipality, Carmen Meléndez; the head of Government of the Capital District, Nahum Fernández; the Minister of Popular Power for Health, Magaly Gutiérrez.
