Regarding the visit to Venezuela, the Vice President of the
Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, held a meeting with the Japanese architect, Riken Yamamoto, who is
currently the winner of the Pritzker Prize 2024.
According to the contact of Venezolana de
Televisión, during the meeting Rodríguez and Yamamoto exchanged ideas on
topics of interest in today's world.
In addition, the vice-president took the opportunity
to praise Yamamoto's architectural work, which is an inspiration for Venezuela.
Also, during his visit to the country, the Japanese architect visited several emblematic architectural works in Caracas, such as the Central University of Venezuela, the Mountain Barracks, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Teresa Carreño Theater and the Humboldt Hotel.
