The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, this Friday, March 15, held a meeting with representatives of the Cuban Chamber of Commerce, headed by its president Antonio Carricartel Corona, to strengthen bilateral relations and discuss strategies in the industrial, agronomic and health sectors.

The activity, reviewed by Venezolana de Televisión, explains that delegations from both nations evaluated policies in other key sectors such as bioagriculture, the electronic industry and the pharmaceutical industry.

The meeting also highlighted Venezuela's significant advances in economic recovery despite the international sanctions that the United States government has imposed on the country.

In addition, the working meeting was attended by the Minister Counselor of Cuba, Rubén Ramos; the Cuban ambassador accredited to Venezuela, Dagoberto Rodríguez Barrera; the sectorial vice-president of the economy of Venezuela, José Félix Alvarado and the Minister of Popular Power for National Trade, Luis Villegas.

The authorities of both nations reaffirmed their commitment to solidarity and mutual cooperation, inherited since the signing of the comprehensive cooperation agreement in 2000, which has fostered extensive development in the areas of health, economy, education, sports and culture.

Therefore, this event marks another step in strengthening the bonds of brotherhood between Cuba and Venezuela, two nations united by the vision of a prosperous and just future for their peoples.
