The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, warned of a possible false flag maneuver that seeks to attack the ExxonMobil platform in disputed waters between Venezuela and Guyana, pending delimitation.
On his social networks, Rodríguez accused the Guyanese Government of violating international law by exploiting maritime territory that does not belong to it.
Rodríguez pointed out that these actions would be linked to the American mercenary Erik Prince, with the objective of justifying aggression against Venezuela.
He reiterated his commitment to defend national sovereignty and the historical legacy of the Essequibo territory, inherited from the Liberator Simon Bolivar.
The vice-president also mentioned the participation of the ultra-right politician María Corina Machado in these criminal operations, underlining the determination of the Venezuelan Government to protect the territorial integrity and honor of its people.
