This Friday, June 14, during the Comprehensive Day of Care for the Elderly in the state of Bolivar, the Executive Vice President assured that grandparents and grandmothers are the most important treasure of our country.

“They are the historical moral reservoir of this revolution, which is for transformation, for profound changes, but it is also for the recognition, for equality, the social justice of those who were so mistreated and violated by the fixism point,” Rodríguez said.

The Vice President insisted that the accumulated wisdom of grandparents and grandmother is important, “today they are the bulwark of Venezuela, in the historical and moral defense of the Fatherland.”

“The new generations don't know what the terror of fascism is that oligarchic surnames represent,” he added.

He also pointed out that it is essential that the four aspects of the Great Mission Grandparents and Grandmothers, health and nutrition, and Misión Sonrisa be fulfilled.

In that regard, he assured that President Nicolás Maduro asked that CLAP combos for older adults should have more protein, vegetables and fruits, “they must have a good healthy and balanced diet.”

“The most serious injuries caused by the blockade and the criminal sanctions that asked for surnames were precisely against our pensioners, and President Nicolás Maduro is showing his face,” he said.
