Vice President Rodríguez: CFG 2024 is for the hope, future and happiness of our people

At the installation of the Federal Government Council (CFG) this Thursday, January 25, Delcy Rodríguez, executive vice-president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, assured that “the resources that are being approved for the year 2024 will perform better, in addition to being the definitive leap for development and prosperity as well as the happiness of our people (...) This CFG is for the hope, future and happiness of our people.”

“We are starting the Federal Governing Council this year. 2023 was a year of progress for Venezuela, the CFG adopted a methodology that we have been applying to concentrate resources in vital sectors for the population such as health, water, roads (...) and those of the People's Power in public services and productive areas,” said Rodríguez.

He added that “we are starting the year 2024 with important announcements in the economic area that will allow regional resources to perform better and more efficiently in meeting the needs of the Venezuelan people. In addition, working and refining in coordination with ministries and other institutions to be more efficient.”

The executive vice president added that “we are going to have macroeconomic conditions that will yield much more resources, exchange rate stability, which will allow it not to translate into inflation and a reduction in monthly and annual inflation rates.”
