The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, stressed that Venezuelans and Latin American peoples must remain united and reject the militarization of the United States in the region.

In his account on the social network X, he stated that “Latin America and the Caribbean must continue to be a zone of peace. The Peoples must reject the American militarization of our region.”

In this regard, Rodríguez attached to the message a video of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, accompanied by the Minister of Popular Power for Defense, G/J Vladimir Padrino López, in which the head of state warned about the threat that Guyana represents to the country.

“Because Guyana has been turned precisely into the epicenter of the greatest threat to peace in South America and against Venezuela,” he said.

President Maduro stated that “there are 12 CIA bases and 14 secret bases of the Southern Command, already on the ground in Guyana, in due course the evidence will be shown.”

“Just as they prepared Ukraine against Russia, they have prepared Guyana for that, underestimating us, they don't know what we are capable of doing in the face of threats and in the face of anything that comes our way,” he emphasized.
