Vice President Delcy Rodríguez: We have the best supply rate in 20 years

The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, highlighted this Wednesday that the country has a supply of around 97%, thanks to the policies promoted by President Nicolás Maduro in the midst of the economic blockade.

“We were coming from a process badly hit by the inclement, unjust and criminal economic blockade against Venezuela, which led to tremendous numbers of shortages in the country. Today we can say that we have the best supply rate in 20 years with a shortage figure of just 3%,” said Rodríguez during his participation in the Seventh Radiography of RETAIL 2024, “Reinventing Yourself to Succeed”.

He stressed that “this full supply has also been thanks to domestic production (...) it has been a surgical intervention that has been done to the economy, you know this because you too have been victims of the criminal blockade against Venezuela,” he said when addressing businessmen.

Rodríguez praised the work of the National Economic Council, which “has allowed us, through joint, coordinated and articulated surgical interventions, to have the numbers we are showing today.”
