Vice President Delcy Rodríguez: The irreversible time has come for a new international order

The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, highlighted this Thursday the country's economic growth, despite the brutal imperial economic blockade, and its importance in the consolidation of a new international order.

During his participation in the International Seminar on Economic Development, from the Teresa Carreño Theater, Rodríguez exalted the balance “extraordinarily positive in the midst of such a terrible, so unfair, so inhuman, so illegitimate blockade”, stressing that “Venezuela is absolutely excluded from the international financial system, from the Swift system completely”.

In this sense, he praised the resistance of the People and of the national productive forces to currently lead economic growth in the region. “It is truly commendable and extraordinary that under these conditions, that in these terrible circumstances of economic, financial and commercial blockade against Venezuela, the nation today leads its economic growth figures in South America, in Latin America,” he stressed.

He said that this gives signs “that the Venezuelan people are extraordinary (...) at a time, in addition, when the irreversible time has come for a new international order, of a geopolitical reconfiguration that is taking place”, led by the BRICS countries.

“It's the irreversible time for the construction of that new international order and we want to see how Venezuela is inserted in that new geopolitics,” he emphasized.
