This Monday, September 16, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, said that “Mafalda's critical thinking is valid today and today she would be protesting against Milei's fascism.”

This was stated during a tour broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, through the National Art Gallery (GAN), where the exhibition of Mafalda, the famous character created by the Argentinian artist and cartoonist Quino, opened.

“Today I say that Mafalda would be here on the walls also protesting against fascism in Argentina and in the world, protesting against Milei's fascism, raising her voice for social justice, for the peace of peoples,” he said.

Rodríguez stated that “with the same validity that Mafalda's critical thinking is good and that of its creator Quino, this September 29 we will be celebrating 60 years of that girl who had a geopolitical vision, she was the critical thinking of children”.

He specified that in the 13 modules contemplated in the aforementioned exhibition, a space is opened so that the public can explore their imagination and boys and girls can build comics.

“La Mafalda taught us that a world could be different from war, Mafalda rose up against the war in Vietnam, for a world of peace and one of her favorite toys was the world,” he said.

He stressed that “it became so influential that this September 29th is 60 years old. It was declared the most influential Argentine of the 20th century, translated into 26 different languages, it reached every corner of the planet”.

From Monday, September 16 to October 19, at the GAN facilities, with free access and from 9:00am to 5:00pm from Tuesday to Sunday, children and adults will have the opportunity to enjoy a tour to enjoy the Mafalda exhibition.
