The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of
Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, denounced this Saturday that a park inaugurated by Commander Hugo Chávez was desecrated in honor of the oath of Liberator
Simon Bolivar on the Sacred Mount, in Rome, “
where he swore to free Venezuela from colonialist imperialist chains.”
From the Antímano parish in Caracas, where he inaugurated a
new Socialist Mission Base, Rodríguez pointed out that “the desecrated bust of
our Liberator Father has dawned, the fascist factors of Italy in
conjunction and articulation with the extremists of Venezuela, because they never tire of hurting our people and they think that by collapsing and desecrating the image, the statue
of our Liberator Father they will erase Bolívar from
our hearts and our conscience,” he said.
In her account on the social network X, the Vice President shared
images of the result of the vandalism registered in Italy, and reiterated that “nothing and
no one can do with the historical strength of Bolivar or with his legacy that inspires the peoples of our continent
to defend independence and self-determination.
May Bolívar live forever and may his light illuminate our
paths of freedom.”
Rodríguez repudiated the barbaric act of the enemies of the
country and gave them bad news in their attempts. “Today Bolivar is more alive than
ever, Bolivar will forever govern the destinies not only of Venezuela but
of the region,” he concluded.
