Two Creole-made vessels will begin to cover an international transfer route between Güiria and Trinidad and Tobago, said the president of the Marca País Foundation, Daniela Cabello.

“This route will operate every 15 days and it is thanks to the joint effort between the Bolivarian Revolution, the National Institute of Aquatic Spaces (INEA) and different private companies that worked on the manufacture of these boats,” said Cabello from Sucre state during the launch of these vessels.

In addition, he noted that these boats, catamaran and monohull type, will also cover routes for the benefit of communities.

For his part, the governor of the entity, Gilberto Pinto, pointed out that the construction of these boats was achieved thanks to the joint work with private companies that believe in our country.

“Today, with these boats, we are going to continue strengthening relations with Trinidad and Tobago, with whom we have strengthened direct relations so that, in just three and a half hours, we can interconnect,” he said.
