Venezuela's under-20 futsal team thrashed Uruguay 3-0 and is on the verge of semifinals

In the final match of Group B of the South American Under-20 Futsal Championship, the Villa El Salvador Sports Center in Lima, Peru, Venezuela's national U20 Futsal team overwhelmingly beat its Uruguayan counterpart 3-0 and is still fighting for its place in the semifinals.

Vinotinto played with not only the need to win, waiting for a stumble between Colombia and Brazil to achieve their qualification.

With this result, Venezuela is temporarily in third place in Group B and must now wait for Brazil to win by 2 or more goals over Colombia to advance to the semifinals of the South American Championship.
