Venezuelan striker Saúl Guarirapa signed and was introduced by the Russian Premier League team PFC Sochi. The young player was loaned by the board of directors of Caracas Football Club for six months with an option to buy, as explained in a press release from the Caracas club in recent days.

Since his debut in 2019, Guarirapa scored 16 goals and distributed 10 assists in 69 games for the Caracas team.

The striker was focused on Vinotinto U-23 ahead of the Olympic Qualifying but was not part of the squad competing in the continental tournament.

The sports press reported that Guarirapa's new club is PFC Sochi, which participates in the Russian Premier League based in the city of the same name as the team. His home games are played at the Fisht Olympic Stadium with a capacity for 48,000 people. It is a team that was founded in 2018 to occupy the rights of FC Dynamo St. Petersburg in the second division.
