In order to strengthen bilateral relations and to spread the truth about the Republic, a group of parliamentarians and authorities from the Venezuelan Embassy in Angola designed a joint work agenda, this Friday, during their meeting at the Federal Legislative Palace.

The Venezuela-Angola Parliamentary Friendship Group, chaired by Deputy Carolina Cestari (PSUV/Dtto. Capital), received Ambassador Belén Orsini at this meeting, which allowed us to address issues of interest to both countries, in areas such as agriculture, air service, economy, trade, culture and oil.

For her part, Deputy Cestari proposed working on cultural exchange with Angola in order to publicize
the policies promoted by the Bolivarian Government through the Simón Bolívar National System of Orchestras and Choirs, and the César Rengifo National Theater Movement.

Meanwhile, the vice-president of the group, Deputy Albino Bracho (PPT/ Dtto. Capital), suggested including the topic of public services, since Angola is one of the world's leading energy players.

Meanwhile, Ambassador Belen Orsini recognized that the work agenda will serve to consolidate ties with the Bolivarian Revolution, in the search for a world of peace and justice. He added that the unilateral coercive measures have been a major attack against the Homeland.

Finally, he reiterated his willingness to work together with the parliamentary body; as well as to bring Venezuela to Africa. It should be noted that Venezuela and Angola share similarities, such as being oil powers. In addition, Angola has the second best economy in that continent.
