Venezuelan literature is disseminated in Minsk

The Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in the Republic of Belarus, through the Simon Bolivar Latin American Cultural Center in Minsk, held the conference entitled “Venezuela and its wonders”, addressed to students of the University of the Third Age of Minsk, a house of studies to which it donated a significant number of copies of Venezuelan literature.

The Minsk Regional Library “A.S. Pushkin” was the setting for this enriching conference, which allowed the students of the academic institution to learn more about the tourist and cultural aspects of the South American nation.

This conference aimed to show the beauties and riches of Venezuela, providing general information about the country and highlighting its main treasure: its people.

The bibliographic submission to the Foreign Languages section of the Minsk Regional Library “A.S. Pushkin” included copies of Venezuelan literature, in the categories of poetry, culture, history, politics and gastronomy. These books, donated by the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture, will contribute to the dissemination of Venezuela's valuable literary heritage.

Ambassador Franklin Ramírez highlighted the importance of disseminating and promoting Venezuelan culture in every possible space. According to the Head of Mission, these initiatives are essential to show the beauty and positive of Venezuela, to face the negative media campaign against the country.
