The Venezuelan karateka Yorgelis Salazar is Kumite's number one in the -50 kilogram category according to the world ranking of the category.
As revealed on the website of the Ministry of People's Power for Youth and Sports, Salazar was named number one in the world in the ranking of the 10 best athletes in her discipline.
