The Venezuelan Joselyn Brea won the 21K in the CAF 2024 half marathon, in what was her second consecutive victory in this category, after a start that took place exactly at 6:00am, the young athlete had no opponents to win in time (1:12:35).

On her Instagram account, the National Sports Institute, the Venezuelan athlete, broke the national record in the CAF 2024 half marathon and said she was very happy to have won and broken her own record.

The Pan-American champion lowered her time last year (1:13.22) and is still looking for a place in Paris 2024. “It was a very tough race. I don't complain about the heat because I like it, but I put a lot of effort into myself in order to break the record,” Brea told sports media after finishing the race.
