The Venezuelan Foreign Minister, Yván Gil, reported on a meeting he held with the Vietnam ambassador to Venezuela, V u Trung My, to review the status of binational agreements and relations.

“This meeting is part of our efforts to strengthen cooperation and strengthen friendship, especially in the context of the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations between our nations,” said the Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs in his account on social network X.

Caracas and Hanoi established diplomatic relations on December 8, 1989, which in recent years have deepened even more, within the framework of a strong convergence in the principle of respect for self-determination and the political affinity of popular systems of government.
