Venezuelan flag waved in Paris during the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games

The 33 athletes together with coaches, managers who will represent Venezuela at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, participated in the opening ceremony held on the Seine River in the French capital.

“We are very happy, excited about all the delegations wearing their typical costumes. We are ready and prepared,” said Venezuelan athlete Yulimar Rojas on her way to the Olympic village.

The Venezuelan delegation ranked 196th, being one of the last countries organized in alphabetical order to parade at the opening ceremony, after Vanuatu.
