Venezuelan delegation will participate in the “World Robot Olympiad” World Meeting in Türkiye

The sector vice-president of Science, Technology, Education and Health, Gabriela Jiménez, reported this Sunday that a youth delegation traveled to Türkiye to participate in the “World Robot Olympiad” World Meeting.

Through his Telegram channel, Jiménez pointed out that this is a thematic competition aimed at teams of boys, girls and young people between 8 and 19 years of age; where they will measure their knowledge, applying solutions to real-world problems.

“Every year this competition has a different theme with challenges that adapt to the ages of the participants. This year's theme is 'Allies of the Earth'”, said the Minister of People's Power for Science, Technology and Innovation.

The official indicated that Venezuelan representation forms an integral part of the National Scientific Seed Program, promoted by President Nicolás Maduro, to promote “scientific learning and the development of technical skills in our youth.”

More than 93 countries will participate in the “World Robot Olympiad” World Meeting, and thousands of young people will demonstrate their abilities and abilities in programming, electronics, robotics, among others.
