The Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván Gil, held a telephone conversation this Tuesday with his counterpart from Serbia, Marko Djuric, to strengthen ties of friendship between the two nations.

Through his account on the social network X, the Gil stressed that they reaffirmed “the diplomatic alliance that exists between our countries as well as our shared commitment to the defense of human rights and respect for international law.”

In the context of optimal diplomatic relations, on February 2, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister received the Style Copies of the new ambassador for the Republic of Serbia, Katarina Andrić, highlighting the historic ties of cooperation and friendship between the two nations.

Like Venezuela, Serbia is a country that respects the purposes and principles of the United Nations Charter and International Law, accentuating the special affection that President Nicolás Maduro has for this Balkan nation and for President Aleksandar Vucić, whom he considers to be one of the most important leaders in Europe and a great leader of his people.
