Venezuelan Ambassador to Mali presents Credentials to President Assimi Goïta

The ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela appointed to the Republic of Mali, Elio Colmenares, presented his Credentials to the president of the transition, Assimi Goïta, this Wednesday.

The protocol event was held at the Koulouba Palace, in the Malian capital Bamako, as reported on his account on the social network X by the Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil.

“This act consolidates the commitment of both nations to strengthen their bilateral relations for mutual benefit,” said the Venezuelan Foreign Minister in his message.

On behalf of the Bolivarian Government, Colmenares highlighted the relevance of bilateral relations between Venezuela and Mali, the certainty in their continuity and future progress, based on the principles of solidarity, mutual respect, cordiality and friendship, as well as the commitment to working together towards a common vision, in the interest of strengthening diplomatic ties, strengthened since the establishment of diplomatic relations on December 24, 1976.

He thanked the President of the Transition for the hospitality of the Malian people in welcoming the Venezuelan diplomatic delegation to their land.

In addition, I stress that the Government of President Nicolás Maduro recognizes and accompanies the Transitional Government in its struggle to recover the stability of its country, the peace and well-being of its people.
