Venezuelan Ambassador presents Credentials to the President of Senegal

The designated ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Republic of Senegal, Regzeida Elena González Herrera, presented Credential Letters to the president of the African country, Bassirou Diomaye Faye.
During the protocol ceremony, which took place at the Presidential Palace in Dakar, the Head of State said that "Venezuela is an inspiration for Senegal and for Africa “, emphasizing the good relations that both countries enjoy and the economic potential that his country offers to continue cooperation in commercial matters, mainly framed in the Senegal 2050 National Transformation Agenda.
The president confirmed his Government's support for joint work with Venezuela and predicted success in carrying out the work of the new Ambassador, who transmitted, on behalf of President Nicolás Maduro, the desire of the South American nation to permanently strengthen and strengthen bilateral relations.
“Both countries share a deep friendship: we are the same people, the same people. It is Venezuela's desire to follow the path of strengthening common interests, defending the causes of oppressed peoples, south-south cooperation and respect for human life,” said the diplomat, quoted in a press release from the Embassy.
