The first friendly match between Venezuela vs. Panama in the women's category opted for the Llaneras, who shook the Canaleñas networks a couple of times, to add their third match won in the run-up to the 2024 Copa América.

After a semester without activity, those led by Pamela Conti returned to the court to take advantage of the double FIFA date and face their Panamanian counterparts at the Brígido Iriarte Stadium in Caracas at 6:30 p.m., where Gaby García and Ysaura Viso scored for this first victory of the Vinotinto Women's Championship in 2024.

The Venezuelan women's national team presented itself with a solid roster of Venezuelan players who play abroad despite the absence of stars such as Joemar Guarecuco, Verónica Herrera, Gabriela Angulo, Sabrina Araujo-Elorza, Deyna Castellanos, Oriana Altuve and Paola Villamizar.

The Venezuelan and Panamanian women's teams will meet again this Monday, April 08, in the same format as the UCV arena.
