Venezuela will begin, during the first quarter of 2025, the export of meat to Iran, said the Minister of Agriculture, Menry Fernández.

Through a message posted on his Instagram account, Fernández explained that he held a meeting with the Minister of Defense of the Persian nation, Aziz Nasirzadeh, where they established “clear protocols” to begin with this action, which, in his opinion, “not only has a productive approach, but also promotes the well-being of our people.”

In the same way, the minister reported that at the meeting, held within the framework of the X Meeting of the High-Level Joint Commission between the two countries, they also reviewed the progress of the agreements in strategic areas signed between Venezuela and Iran.

“We are determined to make progress in the fight against climate change, and for that, we need the support of Iranian experience in nanotechnology. The installation of a nanochelate plant, together with the National Institute for Agricultural Research, will be a reality, and with it, its corn, rice and legume seeds will transform our fields and guarantee the abundance we deserve,” said Fernández.
