Venezuela will participate in a meeting of BRICS foreign ministers

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, arrived in Nizhny Novgorod in the Russian Federation, with the purpose of participating in the meeting of foreign ministers of the BRICS, a block of emerging countries founded by Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.

“On behalf of President Nicolás Maduro, we are in Russia to attend the meeting of the foreign ministers of the BRICS+ countries, which will take place this Tuesday,” the foreign minister wrote on the social network X.

Likewise, Gil highlighted: “We bring the contributions of the Venezuelan people to support the creation of a more equitable and multipolar world, in line with the objectives of this organization.”
