The Elizabeth Popper table tennis gym, located in San José de Cotiza, Caracas, will be the scene of a historic event, since it is the first time that Venezuela will host 19 countries in one of the most important table tennis competitions in the world, the World Table Tennis (WTT) Feeder. The international contest will take place from October 31 to November 3.

In this way, it will bring together 70 international and 200 national athletes from three continents. The president of the Venezuelan Table Tennis Federation, Danir Balbás, indicated at a press conference led by the Senior Judge of Events of the WTT worldwide, Freddy Almendariz, that Venezuela is capable of holding world-class events.”

Almendariz also pointed out that one of the things we have been seeing here in recent days is the integration and acceptance of the community present on this site, in the face of this international event. In addition, it was reported that outstanding national athletes participated in the WTT Feeder, including Roxy González, Dakota Ferrer, César Castillo and Carlos Ríos, who will compete with the best players in the world.

This event is not only a milestone for Venezuelan sports, but also a demonstration of the country's commitment to the promotion and development of table tennis, to position Venezuela as a suitable stage for high-level international competitions.
