Venezuela thrashed Peru 7-1 in the South American Under-17 Futsal Championship

The Venezuelan Futsal team achieved a resounding result in their favor after beating their Peruvian counterpart 7-1 in group B of the South American championship of the discipline, played at the Oscar Harrison Arena in Luque, Paraguay.

Vinotinto won its second victory in CONMEBOL U17 Futsal, after defeating Peru 7-1, on the day played this Monday, August 19, at the COP Arena Óscar Harrison stadium in Paraguay.

The quintet led by José Peña opened the scoring after 5 minutes with Miguel Uribe's goal , followed by Jhonny Palma (2), Manuel Manzanilla (2), Carlos Neus (2) to close the score 7-1.

With this victory, Venezuela reached 6 points in a pair of presentations, and then faced its last two regular phase matches against Uruguay and Argentina scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday respectively.
