The Venezuelan women's national team made a successful debut in the South American under-20 when they gave their Bolivian counterpart a resounding 6-0 win this Friday.

The goals were scored by Mariana Barreto, three times, while Marianyela Jiménez, Floriangel Apóstol and Francelis Graterol added the rest of the goals.

At the Alberto Spencer Model Stadium, the girls led by Pamela Conti, relied on players like Karelis Alvarado, Camila Madriz and Gabriela González to disarm the Bolivian defensive system.

The Llaneras share group B with Bolivia, Colombia, Brazil and Chile, in a tournament where the first three of each group will enter a hexagonal, and then the first four will seal their place in the World Cup.
