Venezuela thanks the words of the Nigerian government on the 60th anniversary of bilateral relations

The government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, through the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, expressed its gratitude to the People and Government of the Republic of Nigeria, for the statements of their African counterpart, who took advantage of the commemoration of 60 years of bilateral relations to highlight the integration into the diplomatic and economic spheres of both nations.

“We received with great enthusiasm the significant message from the Foreign Minister of Nigeria, the Honourable Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of friendship, solidarity and cooperation between our peoples. On behalf of President Nicolás Maduro, we join his call for a future full of shared achievements,” said the Venezuelan diplomat on his account on the social network Telegram.

Minister Maitama Tuggar released a video earlier in which he sent a warm message to Venezuelans, whom he called strategic partners in the oil business where they work together with OPEC to defend hydrocarbon prices.
