Venezuela thanks Rwanda for supporting President Nicolás Maduro for his re-election

On behalf of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, Venezuela thanked the Government of Rwanda for its congratulations after the re-election of July 28 and its good wishes to the Venezuelan people, as stated by the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, on his account of the social network Telegram.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Rwanda presents its compliments to the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, and has the honor of transmitting a message of congratulations from the Government of the Republic of Rwanda to His Excellency the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro,” reads a statement from the African country.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Rwanda took the opportunity to reiterate to the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry the testimony of its highest and most distinguished consideration for the South American country.

Both nations established diplomatic relations on August 18, 1981, as a way of strengthening the existing ties of cooperation and understanding between the two sister countries.
