Venezuela thanks Russia for its conviction against the theft of the presidential plane by the United States

The Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil Pinto,
on behalf of President Nicolás Maduro
thanked the spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry, María
Zajárova, “for her firm condemnation of the recent neocolonial action of the United States”, when hijacking the presidential plane.
Through his Telegram channel,
the foreign minister added that “we value your support in the demand of the Bolivarian People and
Government for the return of what was stolen to the Venezuelan State and in the
defense of our sovereignty.”
The publication of the head of
Foreign Affairs follows the statement of the Russian Foreign Ministry, which,
through an official statement, stated that “this (the arrest of the Venezuelan
plane - TASS) is an example of the supposed 'rules-based order'
that, ignoring international law, seeks to establish the law of the
strongest, create rules that suit their interests and follow them with total impunity”.
“We support
our Bolivarian friends in their legitimate demands to return what was
stolen to the Venezuelan State. We also stand in solidarity with them in their
determination to continue to firmly defend their independence and sovereignty,”
said the spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry.
