Venezuela once again expresses its congratulations and support to the Republic of South Africa for the actions taken by this sister country before various international organizations, with the purpose of stopping the genocide of the Israeli regime against the Palestinian people.

The information was provided by the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, who published the statement issued by the Bolivarian Government on his account on the social network X.

In the letter, Venezuela states that it aligns with the international policy of Bolivarian Peace Diplomacy, and declares that the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, recognizes the courage and firmness of South Africa in its defense of the Palestinian People and International Law.

Below is the full text of the statement:

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela once again expresses its congratulations and support to the Republic of South Africa for the actions taken by that sister country before various international organizations, with the purpose of stopping the genocide of the Israeli regime against the Palestinian people, only possible thanks to the active complicity of the United States and the European Union, which have succeeded in paralyzing the United Nations System for more than seven months of continuing crimes, in particular the Security Council.

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, reiterates our country's commitment to the Bolivarian Peace Diplomacy that guides our foreign policy, which is why he recognizes South Africa's courageous and firm position in defense of the Palestinian people and international law, worthy of the humanist legacy of Nelson Mandela, the great Madiba, who said in 1997: “We know all too well that our freedom is incomplete without the freedom of the Palestinians.”

Like the millions of citizens of the world who demonstrate daily in repudiation of Israel's crimes against Palestine, the Bolivarian Republic will continue to raise its voice in all international settings to demand an end to the genocide and that those responsible for such barbarism be tried and punished, in accordance with the principles of the United Nations Charter and International Humanitarian Law.
