Venezuela and Kuwait will strengthen the various productive sectors offered by the Venezuelan country to boost investment opportunities in the coming years, as reported in a press release by the International Center for Productive Investment (CIIP).

He points out that the president of the CIIP, Alex Saab, held a meeting this Wednesday, January 24, with the ambassador of the State of Kuwait in Venezuela, His Excellency Fadel Haidar Saud Alhasan, where he stressed that they will continue to build alliances.

“Building agile alliances, adapted to the great potential that we have in Venezuela and that our brothers and sisters have,” he said.

It should be noted that the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during his Eurasian tour in 2022, visited the State of Kuwait for the first time, which allowed the activation of the Joint Commission between the two nations to strengthen cooperation in the oil and gas area, in the context of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).

The road map for joint projects in agriculture, energy, mining, technology and telecommunications have been part of bilateral projects to strengthen economic investments.

Venezuela and Kuwait will celebrate in 2024, 59 years of diplomatic relations that began in 1965. Both are full members of OPEC, and they work together to stabilize oil prices, and they agree on the need to cut production for this purpose.
