Venezuela strengthens fisheries and aquaculture cooperation agenda with Algeria

The Minister of Popular Power for Fisheries and Aquaculture, Juan Carlos Loyo, highlighted the strengthening of bilateral brotherhood ties with Algeria in order to strengthen the Venezuelan fishing sector during the 9th edition of the International Fisheries and Aquaculture Show 2024.
In this event, which is taking place in Algeria, Venezuela participated as a guest of honor after 52 years of excellent diplomatic relations, reinforced with the current one signed between the Ministry of Popular Power of Fisheries and Aquaculture of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the Ministry of Fisheries and Halieutical Productions of the Democratic and Popular Republic of Algeria.
The twinned nations, in deepening their diplomatic relations through fishing and aquaculture, established a mechanism to facilitate contacts and shared initiatives between the two countries in the field of fishing and aquaculture.
This will promote learning and innovation with experts in fishing and aquaculture to create networks and strategic partners, reinforce joint collaboration and innovation in fishing and aquaculture projects and initiatives; the fishing sector and related sectors, promote exports, productive variety and commercial supply.
