Venezuela strengthens diplomatic ties with Palestine and Algeria

Venezuela strengthens diplomatic ties with sister nations of Palestine, the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) and Algeria, with meetings held between its accredited ambassadors in Angola, reported the website of the Ministry of People's Power for Foreign Affairs .

He points out that these meetings, in the context of Bolivarian Diplomacy, translate into solidarity, peace, union and respect for the self-determination of Peoples, focused on reflections on urgent issues such as the genocide in Palestine, the struggle of the Saharawi people, the role of Algeria as a major actor in Africa and the Arab world, as well as Venezuela in global geopolitics, the unilateral coercive measures affecting 30 countries of the world today and the need to transform multilateral forums as favorable scenarios for achieving peace.

During the meeting with the Palestinian ambassador, Jubrael Bishara, Ambassador Belén Teresa Orsini Pic reiterated Venezuela's firm position in the face of the massacre perpetrated by the Zionist State of Israel and the common effort to denounce and demand, in international forums, an end to the genocide against this sister people.

In addition, in their meeting with the ambassador of the SADR, Hamdi El Jalil, both diplomats emphasized the importance of intensifying mutual support in the fight for independence and respect for the rights of the Saharawi people. Venezuela will maintain its firm stance in favor of the self-determination of Western Sahara, said Orsini Pic.


At the meeting with the Algerian ambassador, Abdelhakim Mihoubi, the dialogue focused on the analysis of current geopolitical events, the role of Algeria and Venezuela in the global economy and energy security, and the long history of collaboration and long-standing support they share in international forums.
