Venezuela strengthens bilateral cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Mauritania and Mali

In the framework of the 79th General Assembly of the United Nations (UNGA 79), the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, held a meeting with his counterparts from Mali, Abdoulaye Diop; and from the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Abdoulaye Idrissa Wagne, with whom he analyzed Venezuela's bilateral agenda with these nations.

On his Instagram account, Gil stated that “our conversation is another step in strengthening bilateral communications and cooperation between our countries”, referring to the meeting with the representative of Mali.

Regarding his meeting with the Mauritanian diplomat, he said that “we had the pleasure of receiving the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Abdoulaye Idrissa Wagne, and having a friendly and constructive conversation”.

“We reiterate our willingness to strengthen our collaboration and cooperation in multilateral forums, to work together for the benefit of our countries and the international community,” he said.
