Venezuela stands in solidarity and reaffirms support for Cuba in the face of the earthquakes that have shaken the island

This Sunday, November 10, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela expressed through a statement its solidarity with Cuba in the face of the recent earthquakes that have hit the island.

“The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela expresses its absolute solidarity with the brother people and Government of the Republic of Cuba, after the two strong earthquakes recorded today in its territory, with magnitude of 6.0 and 6.8, which have shaken the entire island and generated moments of anguish in the population,” highlights part of the statement shared by the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, through his Telegram channel.

In the text, Venezuela reaffirmed its “unconditional support and once again places itself at the service of the brotherly people of Cuba to provide whatever assistance is necessary.”
