Venezuela signed Tamunangue's nomination as Intangible Heritage of Humanity (+UNESCO)

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, celebrated the signing of the file for the application to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) of the Tamunangue as an Intangible Heritage of Humanity.

The signing took place in an act that the head of state described as “a beautiful, joyful and colorful act that enhances our culture and history”.

In addition, he added that it was held in Barquisimeto, Lara state, within the framework of the Great Mission Viva Venezuela, Mi Patria Querida,.

“Grateful to Maestro Edecio Yépez for such a beautiful gift: “dance, song and culture”, with the spirit and rhythm of the Tamunangue who vindicates our Tamunangueros and Tamunangueras,” he wrote through his account on the social network X.
