Venezuela sends condolences to the people of Azerbaijan after plane crash

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, this Wednesday, December 25, sent its condolences to the people of Azerbaijan, after the accident of a commercial flight on the Azerbaijan-Russia route, which crashed in Kazakhstan early this day.
In this regard, the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, through his Telegram channel, said: “We join the grief that grieves the people of Azerbaijan in the face of the regrettable plane crash in Aktau.”
“From Venezuela, we extend our sincere words of condolence to the families and friends of the victims of the accident and pray for the speedy recovery of those injured,” he said.
The publication was made by Gil, after an Azerbaijan Airlines passenger plane, which was traveling from Baku, Azerbaijan to Grozny, Russia, hit Aktau Airport in Kazakhstan, after having requested an emergency landing.
Azerbaijani media that 67 passengers and five crew members were on board the aircraft.
The Kazakh Government on its Telegram channel explained that, at the site of the plane crash, near the Kazakh city of Aktau, more than 430 rescuers and about 80 units of equipment participate, who provide necessary medical, psychological and other assistance to the victims.
