Venezuela runner-up in the 1st Bolivarian Youth Games Sucre 2024

The Venezuelan delegation took second place in the
medal table of the 1st Sucre Bolivarian Youth Games 2024, which were
held in Bolivia, after winning 63 gold medals, 48 silver and 46
bronze medals, for a total of 147 medals.
Venezuela was second only to Colombia, which accumulated 73
gold, 51 silver and 55 bronze. The podium was completed by the Chilean national team, which won
30 gold, 40 silver and 47 bronze.
In Sucre 2024, 227 gold, 224 silver and 284 bronze were awarded, for a total
of 735 medals.
The 1st Sucre Bolivarian Youth Games 2024
took place from April 4 to 14, 2024, with the participation of more than 1,100 athletes
between the ages of 14 and 20, from Bolivia, Chile, Colombia,
Ecuador, Panama, Peru and Venezuela, who competed in more than 24 sports
and 27 disciplines.
