This Thursday, Venezuela rejected the statement issued by the United States Department of State, signed by satellite governments, attacking the country with infamies, distortions and coup aspirations.

The Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, published the above-mentioned text in which he states that “Mr. Blinken and his “little command” of lackey countries are trying to reissue the initiative of former Vice President Pence when, in 2019, he failed in a similar attempt to isolate Venezuela. In this ridiculous statement, they intend to invoke the defense of the human rights of the Venezuelan people while assaulting them with almost a thousand illegal coercive measures and planning terrorist actions against their authorities, public services and institutions, to ignore their democratic will and impose, as in 2019, a new puppet.”

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela rejects the communiqué drafted by the Department of State of the United States of America, signed today by a handful of its satellite governments to attack the Venezuelan people, is nothing more than an accumulation of infamies, distortions and coup aspirations, whose epilogue will, as always, be a resounding failure.

Mr. Blinken and his “little command” of lackey countries are trying to reissue former Vice President Pence's initiative when, in 2019, he failed in a similar attempt to isolate Venezuela. In this ridiculous statement, they intend to invoke the defense of the human rights of the Venezuelan people while assaulting them with almost a thousand illegal coercive measures and planning terrorist actions against their authorities, public services and institutions, to ignore their democratic will and impose, as in 2019, a new puppet.

They added to their meeting the hoax of the Carter Center, who, betraying the historical legacy of its founder, today does not accompany electoral processes, but seeks to protect them, redefine their rules and provide their own results as appropriate. Already in Venezuela, the National Electoral Council ruled and its result was ratified by the Supreme Court of Justice, without any candidate - including the one protected and financed by the White House - presenting only one challenge.

Venezuela has been and will always be respectful of international law. In Caracas, the US headquarters remains intact despite the fact that the Venezuelan diplomatic headquarters in Washington and New York were stolen and are today in a scandalous state of deterioration. None of these countries protested this violation, nor Ecuador's meddling in the Mexican Embassy to kidnap an asylee, nor the bombing of Israel, whom they finance and support, the Iranian Consulate. None of these fakers has the morals to talk about commitments and respect for international law.

Venezuela does not allow itself to be intimidated. The world knows that its people and government are deeply committed to self-determination, independence and democratic values, as well as an unwavering attachment to international law and peace.
