Venezuela rejects G7 statement on elections: This arrogant attitude will not go unanswered

The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela rejected this Tuesday the pronouncement issued by the powers aligned in the so-called G7 regarding the presidential elections of July 28.
In a statement, released by Foreign Minister Yván Gil, Venezuela criticized the double standard of those who on the one hand act as “arbiters of democracy”, while promoting genocide and the revival of fascism.
Below is the full text of the document:
The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela categorically rejects the absurd pronouncement, regarding the Venezuelan electoral and political process, issued by the G7, a group of powers that insist on believing themselves to be the arbiter of global democracy while covering up their own political, economic and moral failures, supporting genocide and stimulating the spread of Nazi and fascist ideology in Europe and the world.
It is particularly ironic that these same countries, which did the most outrageous of ridicules in 2019 by recognizing an impostor as an “interim president”, now intend to give lessons on popular will and electoral processes. They try, from the colonialist and imperialist complex, to prepare the ground for ignoring the institutions and decisions of the Venezuelan people with the fantasy of a Guaidó 2.0 that will once again crash into the dignity of Simón Bolívar's heirs.
We warn the G7 countries that this interventionist and arrogant attitude will not go unanswered. Venezuela will proceed to comprehensively review its relations with each of the governments that make up this group, because respect for national sovereignty is not negotiable.
History has already demonstrated that the Bolivarian people will not accept more guardianships. Venezuela is free, and will continue to be so, no matter how much it hurts those who have not overcome their imperial complexes.
