With the purpose of strengthening international connectivity, tourism and commercial exchange, Venezuela received the maiden flight of the airline Qatar Airways, which landed at Simón Bolívar de Maiquetía International Airport, in La Guaira.
The Ministry of Popular Power for Transport, through its social networks, indicated that the reception of the aircraft was attended by a government delegation headed by the sector vice president of Public Works and Services, Juan Ramírez; the Minister for Transport, Francisco Garcés; and the Minister for Tourism, Daniella Cabello.
This new air operation will establish a direct connection between the two nations through two weekly frequencies.
The route will have the capacity to carry 200 passengers per flight, which represents a strategic milestone for boosting economic integration and the country's tourist positioning on the international map.
