The Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, met this Friday in Namibia with the president of the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic, Brahim Ghali, to whom he sent greetings from Venezuelan president Nicolás Maduro.

“During this meeting, we extend cordial Bolivarian greetings and reaffirm the deep friendship and alliance that unite our peoples,” said the Venezuelan diplomat through his Telegram channel.

In addition, Gil reiterated “Venezuela's strong support in the fight for the self-determination of Western Sahara.” The conversation took place in Namibia, where both authorities attended the inauguration of President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah.
