The Administrative and Digital Government sector vice-president, Anabel Pereira, ratified this Wednesday the commitment of the Government of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, to the simplification of export procedures, so that domestic products go further and further.
In a video released by the president on her Telegram channel, Pereira, accompanied by the Deputy Minister of International Trade, Saúl Ameliach, highlighted the decree simplifying export procedures recently approved by the Head of State.
“Today we are taking a step to make our products go further. Exporters will meet the requirements of their country of destination, the rest will no longer be mandatory,” said the sector vice-president.
In this regard, he explained that the decree, in the area of fishing and aquaculture, “no longer requires internal permits, registrations and certificates to export and restrictions on sales abroad are lifted.”
With regard to coffee and cocoa, he indicated that restrictions on their export are lifted and the coffee exporter code is no longer required, while in food and industry the export permits issued by these ministries are no longer required.
“In healthcare, certifications will only be issued if your destination country requires them. To the port, only one document will be needed to move the cargo and the documents they request abroad will have a maximum of 10 business days for legalization,” he added.
Pereira noted that, “with this simplification of procedures, shipping times are reduced, thus encouraging non-oil exports.” However, he specified that health and safety controls are maintained.
“The State will guarantee the national supply and our producers will have simpler rules to position Venezuelan products in the world,” he stressed.
