Venezuela proposes at the UN a multipolar and multicentric world, of peace and free of hegemonies

The Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván Gil, said that it is important that free and peace-loving peoples strive to strengthen unity, in the midst of the emergence of a “new multipolar and multicentric world, of peace and economic prosperity, free of hegemony.”

During his speech at the 79th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN), held in New York, the Foreign Minister emphasized that the principles that constitute the narrative of Free Peoples, which are expressed in new forms of association based on the principles of solidarity and complementarity, such as the Bolivarian Alternative for the Peoples of Our America-Peoples' Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP), the BRICS and other hopeful horizons of the new emerging world order,” he said.

In this regard, on behalf of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, Gil told the international community that Venezuela will continue to fight hand in hand with the people, in “permanent organization and popular mobilization”.
