Venezuela participates in the 45th edition of FITUR Madrid 2025

The Madrid Tourism Fair 2025 will bring together 9,500 participating companies from 156 countries

Venezuela is participating in the 45th edition of the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) in Madrid, Spain, said the Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Leticia Gómez.

In posts on his account on the social network Instagram, Gómez noted that since his arrival in Madrid he has held several meetings in what, he said, he seeks to strengthen the country's tourism positioning in the international market.

One of these meetings was held with representatives of the company DISSET, “with whom we talked about strategies to promote the promotion of Venezuela in the foreign market,” he said.

In addition, with representatives of the magazine Spend In, with whom they talked about strategies to strengthen Venezuela's tourism positioning in the world, in the meantime, “we held an important meeting with the managers of the company CATAI together with our ambassador in Spain, Gladys Gutiérrez to continue advancing the promotion of Venezuela in the European market,” he said.

Gómez also met with José Antonio Castro, president of Hesperia World, in the company of Ambassador Gutierrez.

Along the same lines, he highlighted the conversation he had with Anasha Campbell, Minister of Tourism of Nicaragua, in order to continue advancing strategies to promote tourism in the region.

The Venezuelan minister took the opportunity to visit the stand of the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean (CAF) and show “the beauty of our country,” she said, while viewing images of Angel Falls.

The Madrid 2025 tourism fair will bring together 9,500 participating companies from 156 countries, and 884 tenured exhibitors, who will show from January 22 to 26 the outstanding performance of the tourism industry during the past financial year of 2024 and the good expectations for 2025.
