Venezuela participates in the 27th International Tourism Fair of the Eastern Mediterranean in Türkiye

A Venezuelan delegation led by the Deputy Minister of International
Tourism, Leticia Gómez, attended the first day of the 27th
edition of the International Tourism and Travel Fair of the Eastern Mediterranean
(EMITT) 2024, which takes place at the Tüyap Fair Convention & Congress Center — Istanbul, Türkiye.
In a post on his X @leticiagomezve network account,
he said that during the first day of EMITT, he held a meeting with Türkiye's tour
operator Zafer Omay, in order to highlight and expand tourism and air cooperation between the two nations.
Considered the leading tourism event in its region and
among the top five tourism exhibitions in the world, EMITT is the
pinnacle of tourism offering new business and partnership opportunities
for the sector over the past 20 years. Headquartered in Istanbul, Türkiye is
currently an important destination connecting Europe and Asia.
EMITT annually attracts around 45,000 industry professionals
, as well as tourists seeking new and exciting
opportunities from destinations and travel service companies around the
world.
The fair provides new business and
cooperation opportunities to the Turkish and global travel sectors, and is organized by the
Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Metropolitan Municipality of Istanbul and
the Turkish Airlines airline, in cooperation with the Turkish Federation of
Hoteliers and the Turkish Tourism Investors Association.
